Today was one of those days for me. My friend called and knew I was in a little bit of a bummer mood so she decided a drive was needed. We went on a drive down by the lake. We got to talk, but just being there seeing the lake made me feel so peaceful!! The sun was setting at the moment, so the colors on the lake were bright and soothing. We turned a corner and had a perfect view of the snowy mountains. The mountain and the lake were both so peaceful to me! These things are naturally beautiful because no matter what the weather is like, they are still peaceful. They are constant and reliable! For the way I was feeling, that's exactly what I needed! I felt protected because of their closeness and like they will never leave or change!
