Tomorrow a few of my friends are celebrating their birthday!! For the past few weeks that is one thing that always seems to be on their mind! I remember it was on MY birthday in November that one of these friends started the countdown! Why does it seem that we celebrate birthdays more than we celebrate national holidays?! A birthday is the best day for someone, it's literally THEIR day! Christmas is great because of presents, but birthdays are great because you are the only one who gets presents! Saying all these things makes it seem like a selfish holiday, but if the birthday person isn't rude and selfish about it, it's such a fun day for the friends and family of the birthday person to show them how much they love and care about them by making the day as special as they can!
